Driving Global Growth: TA Convenes EMEA Portfolio Company Leaders for Global Delivery Forum
In Q4 2024, TA’s Strategic Resource Group hosted a one-day, exclusive event in London for portfolio company leaders focused on exploring and implementing a Global Delivery Model (GDM) – an approach that enables organizations to access top talent, reduce costs and provide around-the-clock support through utilizing multiple locations.
The forum convened 30 EMEA-based senior executives across TA’s portfolio, offering them a unique opportunity to share best practices, discuss emerging trends and collaborate on strategies to expand their global reach. The agenda was framed around the GDM “Maturity J-Curve” - the period of investment required to see value capture from global delivery integration.
Highlights from the event included:
- TA Operating Partner Robin Crewe kicked off the day with a presentation on the business benefits of harnessing global delivery. Key advantages include access to world-class talent pools, enhanced workforce diversity, cost savings and the ability to provide 24/7 support across time zones.
- Joao Goncalves from Cyncly, Vernon Barback from Russell Investments, Terry Taylor and Radu Giju from The Access Group and Jean de Villiers from Unit4 shared their respective journeys across the J-curve. With the goal of equipping other TA portfolio companies with the tools to integrate GDM with confidence, they discussed key lessons learned, prerequisites for success and strategies for overcoming common challenges.
- Kinesh Doshi and Rohit Jayaswal from Accion Labs offered a unique point of view on what to consider when working with a GDM partner.
- TA's SRG led a session on AI’s complementary role in enabling global operations, highlighting ways it helps companies drive automation and process transformation.
This event was part of an ongoing series of cross-portfolio forums facilitated by TA’s Strategic Resource Group to help portfolio companies scale growth and improve performance. The series further demonstrates TA’s commitment to fostering collaborative learning environments that fuel innovation, entrepreneurship and knowledge-sharing across its global network.
