TA Announces Global 2025 Mid-Year Promotions

TA Associates (“TA”), a leading global private equity firm, announced the promotion of several senior professionals across the Firm’s global offices, effective July 1, 2025.

On TA’s investment team, Rodrigo Bassit and Lily Xu have been promoted to Senior Vice President, and Rishabh Bhatt and Victoire de Valroger have been promoted to Vice President. Within the Strategic Resource Group, Dan Brooks and Zach Goodman have been promoted to Director; Adrien Cipel and Isabelle Donis have been promoted to Principal; Alex Henderson Russell and Jodie Schwirtz have been promoted to Senior Vice President; and Axel Benson has been promoted to Vice President. Within the Capital Markets Group, Sabina Kerr has been promoted to Director, Rishabh Shah has been promoted to Principal and Mitchell Pitkin has been promoted to Vice President. On the Firm’s Investor Relations team, Grace Dennis has been promoted to Vice President. On the Corporate Team, Seema Desai was promoted to Head of Tax; Maggie Benoit was promoted to Vice President, Head of Communications; Whitney Proffitt was promoted to Vice President (Talent); and Jennifer Sullivan was promoted to Vice President (Corporate Finance).

INVESTMENT STAFF

• Rodrigo Bassit earned the promotion to Senior Vice President. Based in TA’s Austin office, Rodrigo focuses on investments in financial services and financial technology companies in North America. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of Caprock and Kline Hill Partners and is actively involved in TA’s investments in Apex Group, Financial Information Technologies, Orion Advisor Solutions and Wealth Enhancement Group. Prior to joining TA, Rodrigo worked at the Latin America Mergers and Acquisitions Group of Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

• Lily Xu earned the promotion to Senior Vice President. Based in TA’s Hong Kong office, Lily focuses on investments in financial services, business services and technology companies across the Asia-Pacific region, with an emphasis on Australia and New Zealand. She currently sits on the Board of Directors of Craigs Investment Partners, is a Board Observer of Betashares and Yarra Capital Management, and is actively involved in TA’s investment in Fisher Funds. Prior to joining TA, Lily worked as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Morgan Stanley.

• Rishabh Bhatt earned the promotion to Vice President. Based in TA’s Mumbai office, Rishabh focuses on investments in business services and consumer companies in India. He is actively involved in TA’s investments in Nous Infosystems and Vee Healthtek. Prior to joining TA, Rishabh worked in the India Investment Banking Division at BofA Securities.

• Victoire de Valroger earned the promotion to Vice President. Based in TA’s London office, Victoire focuses on investments in business services, financial services, data, and consumer companies across Europe, with a specific focus on French-speaking countries. She is actively involved in TA’s investments in QIMA, Valoria Capital, Odealim, Emeria, Solabia, Babilou and Vivacy. Prior to joining TA, Victoire worked in the Investment Banking Division, Consumer & Retail, at Bank of America.

STRATEGIC RESOURCE GROUP

• Dan Brooks earned the promotion to Director. Based in TA’s Boston office, Dan focuses on supporting operations and driving growth in the TA healthcare portfolio. Prior to joining TA, he was an Associate at McKinsey & Company. Previously, Dan served in the U.S. Marine Corps, achieving the rank of Major.

• Zach Goodman earned the promotion to Director. Based in TA’s Boston office, Zach focuses on value creation in the TA technology portfolio, where he partners with management teams to scale profitable growth. Before joining TA, he was a Principal at Cove Hill Partners. Previously, he was a Managing Director at Meritage Group.

• Adrien Cipel earned the promotion to Principal. Based in TA’s London office, Adrien partners with management teams across EMEA to help identify and drive value creation and performance improvement opportunities. Before joining TA, he was Head of Europe and Global Head of Insurance for WorkFusion. Previously, he was a Principal at Boston Consulting Group and an M&A Analyst at Morgan Stanley.

• Isabelle Donis earned the promotion to Principal. Based in TA’s London office, she partners with management teams across TA’s European portfolio to drive value creation, focusing on revenue growth, operational efficiency, and broader business transformation. She also provides technical support for financial operations, M&A activity, and liquidity readiness and execution. Prior to TA, Isabelle was Head of FP&A at Hana Group, a former TA portfolio company, and previously held a Senior Manager role in Transaction Services at KPMG Deal Advisory.

• Alex Henderson Russell earned the promotion to Senior Vice President. Based in TA’s London office, Alex partners with management teams across EMEA and APAC to help identify and drive value creation and performance improvement opportunities. Prior to joining TA, he was a Chief Operating Officer at a Logistics SaaS Scale Up. Previously, he was a Consultant at Bain & Company and an Assistant Vice President in the Equity Trading Division at Barclays.

• Jodie Schwirtz earned the promotion to Senior Vice President. Based in TA’s Austin office, Jodie leads business system implementations, optimizations, and integrations across TA’s portfolio to deliver systems designed for purpose and scalable for growth. Prior to joining TA, she was a Director of Transformation at Apex Group, a TA portfolio company.

• Axel Benson earned the promotion to Vice President. Based in TA’s London office, Axel focuses on the development and maintenance of analytic tools to monitor portfolio performance and identify value creation opportunities. He also collaborates with management teams to improve the financial operations of TA portfolio companies. Prior to joining TA, he was a Portfolio Manager at Bowmark Capital. Previously, he worked at JPMorgan Asset Management.

CAPITAL MARKETS GROUP

• Sabina Kerr earned the promotion to Director, Head of Europe. Based in TA’s London office, Sabina focuses on TA's capital markets activities across EMEA and APAC, and is responsible for managing the firm’s relationships with financing partners. Prior to joining TA, Sabina was an Assistant Director in the Debt Advisory, Private Equity Team at Deloitte & Touche LLP.

• Rishabh Shah earned the promotion to Principal. Based in TA’s London office, Rishabh focuses on TA’s capital markets activities in Europe for both new acquisitions and portfolio companies, and on fostering strong relationships with the firm’s European financing partners. In addition, Rishabh helps support TA’s capital markets efforts in APAC.

• Mitchell Pitkin earned the promotion to Vice President. Based in TA’s Boston office, Mitch focuses on providing an additional level of support to overall capital markets activities for both new acquisitions and portfolio companies, and on promoting strong relationships with financing partners. Prior to joining TA, he worked as an Analyst in the Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries Group at J.P. Morgan Chase.

INVESTOR RELATIONS TEAM

• Grace Dennis earned the promotion to Vice President. Based in TA’s Boston office, Grace focuses on the firm's relationships with Limited Partners, primarily in North America. Before joining TA, she was a Private Equity Associate at Crosspoint Capital Partners. Previously, she was a Senior Associate at Strategy&.

CORPORATE TEAM

• Seema Desai earned the promotion to Head of Tax. Based in TA’s Boston office, Seema oversees tax compliance and reporting for the TA Funds and TA Corporate, including federal, state and foreign tax reporting. Before joining TA, she was a Tax Director at Fund Tax Services, and previously worked at TPG-Axon Capital Management and PwC.

• Maggie Benoit earned the promotion to Vice President, Head of Communications. Based in TA’s Boston office, Maggie leads TA’s global communications strategy, including public relations, media relations, brand management, content development, and portfolio company marketing and strategic communications. Prior to joining TA, she was an Account Manager in the Reputation Management group at Porter Novelli.

• Whitney Proffitt earned the promotion to Vice President (Talent). Based in TA’s Boston office, Whitney leads global recruiting and talent acquisition for TA’s internal team, including investment staff, the Strategic Resource Group, Investor Relations, Capital Markets Group and Corporate functions. Prior to joining TA, she was a Senior Manager on the Human Resources team at Advent International, and previously held roles at Bain Capital, Cambridge Associates and Harris Williams.

• Jennifer Sullivan earned the promotion to Vice President (Corporate Finance). Based in TA’s Boston office, Jennifer is responsible for accounting and financial reporting for TA’s Management Company entities. Prior to joining TA, she was the Head of International Accounting at Natixis Investment Managers International and previously served as a Controller at Audax Group.
