TA Announces Global Promotions

BOSTON, MA – January 2, 2024– TA Associates (“TA”), a leading global private equity firm, today announced the promotion of 16 professionals across the firm’s global offices, effective January 1, 2024.

These include the promotion of Andrew Harris and Aditya Sharma to Managing Director; Jérémy Dréan, Jessica Gilligan and Nicholas Leppla to Director; Charles Ha to Principal; Gurnoor Kaur, Michele Lim, Gregory Majno, Saransh Mehta, Kevin Schuler, John Triebsch and Eric Zagorski to Senior Vice President; and Alex Cicetti, Maximilian Mueller and Gabe Weissmann to Vice President.

Andrew Harris, TA’s Global Head of Investor Relations, was named a Managing Director. Based in TA’s Boston office, he is responsible for managing the firm’s fundraising and investor relations activities globally. Before joining TA, Andrew was a Principal on the Limited Partner Services team at Advent International.

Aditya (Adi) Sharma earned the promotion to Managing Director from Director. Based in TA’s Mumbai office, Adi focuses on investments in companies across India and other emerging markets. He serves on the Board of Directors of Accion Labs and is an active investor in TA’s investments in Atria Convergence Technologies, Billdesk, Shilpa Medicare and TCNS Clothing Co. He previously served on the Board of Prudent Corporate Advisory Services and was an active investor in Dr. Lals Pathlabs and Tega Industries. Adi joined TA’s London office in 2008 and is a founding member of the firm’s India office, spending over 12 years at TA across both offices. In 2023, Adi re-joined TA from Lightspeed Venture Partners where he was a Partner leading the firm’s late-stage Growth Equity investing efforts across India and Southeast Asia.

Jérémy Dréan earned the promotion to Director from Principal. He is based in TA’s London office, focusing on investments in financial services and technology-enabled services companies in Europe. He also helps lead the firm’s efforts in French-speaking countries across sectors. Jérémy serves on the Board of Directors of Emeria, Fairstone Group, MRH Trowe, Odealim Group, Söderberg & Partners, Solabia Group and Valoria Capital. Before joining TA, he worked in the Consumer Group in Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley and at GSV Asset Management.

Jessica Gilligan earned the promotion to Director from Principal. Based in TA’s Boston office, she focuses on investments in branded consumer products, services and related companies in North America. Jessica serves on the Board of Directors of Death Wish Coffee, Mid America Pet Food and Stonewall Kitchen, and is actively involved in TA’s investment in Advantice Health and Petcurean. Before joining TA, Jessica was on the Corporate Strategy team at Paula’s Choice, a former TA portfolio company, and worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Sagent Advisors, Inc.

Nicholas (Nick) Leppla earned the promotion to Director from Principal. He is based in TA’s Menlo Park office, focusing on investments in technology companies. Nick serves on the Board of Directors of e-Emphasys, LeadVenture, Radiant Logic, Rocscience and Veracode, and is a Board Observer of Confluence, Fortra and Planview. Before joining TA, Nick was the Chief of Staff at AVG Technologies and worked in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications Group in Investment Banking at J.P. Morgan.

Charles Ha earned the promotion to Principal from Senior Vice President. Based in TA’s Boston office, he focuses on investments in software companies across North America. Charles serves on the Board of Directors of Revalize, Riskonnect, Technosylva and Veracode and is a Board Observer of Mediaocean. Before joining TA, Charles was a Vice President at General Catalyst.

Gurnoor Kaur earned the promotion to Senior Vice President from Vice President. She is based in TA’s Mumbai office, focusing on investments in business services companies in India. Gurnoor is on the Board of Directors of Accion Labs and is actively involved with TA’s investments in Atria Convergence Technologies and Zifo. Before joining TA, Gurnoor worked in Investment Banking at Rothschild & Co. and J.P. Morgan.

Michele Lim earned the promotion to Senior Vice President from Vice President. Based in TA’s Hong Kong office, Michele focuses on investments in companies across Asia-Pacific, with a regional focus on Southeast Asia. She is a Board Observer of Faria Education Group, InCorp Global and MISA and is actively involved in TA’s investment in Yeepay. Before joining TA, Michele was an Assistant Vice President at Khazanah.

Gregory (Greg) Majno earned the promotion to Senior Vice President from Vice President. Based in TA’s Boston office, Greg focuses on investments in healthcare companies across North America. He serves on the Board of Directors of PrimeRx and is actively involved in TA’s investment in Intelerad. Before joining TA, Greg was an Associate at Advent International and an Analyst in Investment Banking at J.P. Morgan.

Saransh Mehta earned the promotion to Senior Vice President from Vice President. He is based in TA’s London office, focusing on investments in technology companies across Europe. Saransh serves as a Board Observer of Priority Software and RLDatix. Before joining TA, Saransh was on the Technology team at CVC Capital Partners and worked in Investment Banking at Royal Bank of Canada and Barclays.

Kevin Schuler earned the promotion to Senior Vice President from Vice President. He is based in TA’s Boston office, focusing on investments in technology companies across North America. Kevin serves on the Board of Directors of iCIMS and Insurity, is a Board Observer of e-Emphasys and Gamma Technologies and is actively involved in TA’s investments in Appfire and LeadVenture. Before joining TA, Kevin was an Analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

John Triebsch earned the promotion to Senior Vice President from Vice President. Based in TA’s Menlo Park office, John focuses on investments in software and technology companies across North America. He serves on the Board of Directors of Kofax, PDQ, Precisely and Rocscience, and is actively involved in TA’s investments in insightsoftware and TierPoint. Before joining TA, John was an Analyst in Investment Banking at Barclays Capital.

Eric Zagorski earned the promotion to Senior Vice President from Vice President. He is based in TA’s Boston office, focusing on investments in healthcare companies across North America. Eric serves on the Board of Directors of Alpha II and is a Board Observer of Edifecs and Navia Benefit Solutions. Before joining TA, Eric was a Senior Associate at Housatonic Partners and worked in Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley.

Alex Cicetti earned the promotion to Vice President from Senior Associate. Based in TA’s London office, Alex focuses on investments in healthcare companies across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He serves on the Board of Directors of Elos Medtech. Before joining TA, he was a member of the Diversified Industries EMEA Group in Investment Banking at J.P. Morgan.

Maximilian (Max) Mueller earned the promotion to Vice President from Senior Associate. Based in TA’s London office, Max focuses on investments in business services, financial services and consumer companies across Europe, specifically in German-speaking countries and the Nordics. He is actively involved in TA’s investments in MRH Trowe, Nactarome, Söderberg & Partners and Surfaces Group. Max previously worked as an operational secondee at The Access Group, a TA portfolio company, and in Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs.

Gabe Weissmann earned the promotion to Vice President from Senior Associate. He is based in TA’s Boston office, focusing on investments in technology-enabled and business services companies across North America. Gabe is actively involved in TA’s investments in OMNIA Partners, Stackline and TouchTunes. Before joining TA, Gabe worked in the Consumer and Retail Group and the Investment Grade Capital Markets Group in Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs.
