TA Announces Global Strategic Resource Group and Capital Markets Group Promotions

Sabina Kerr of the Capital Markets Group was promoted to Principal from Senior Vice President. Within the Strategic Resource Group, Philip Yotov was promoted to Principal from Senior Vice President, Daniel Brooks, Ritika Chandra and Andrew Lowry were promoted to Senior Vice President from Vice President, and Ritej Bachhawat was promoted to Vice President from Senior Associate.

Capital Markets Group
Sabina Kerr, based in TA’s London office, drives TA’s capital market activities in Europe and Asia Pacific, including managing the firm’s relationships with European and Asia Pacific financing partners. She also provides an additional level of support to TA’s global capital markets activities, for both new acquisitions and portfolio companies. Kerr joined TA in January 2019 from Deloitte, Debt Advisory where she worked as an Assistant Director. She earned a BC degree in Accounting from the University of College Dublin and a Master of Accounting degree from the Michael Smurfit Business School.

Strategic Resource Group
Philip Yotov, based in TA’s Menlo Park office, focuses on value creation in the TA technology portfolio, partnering closely with management teams to improve performance and scale profitable growth. Prior to joining TA in 2015, Yotov spent more than five years with Bain & Company and Cabot Square Capital. He earned a BA degree, cum laude, in Economics from Yale University and an MBA, High Honors, from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business

Daniel Brooks, based in TA’s Boston office, focuses on supporting operations and driving growth in the TA healthcare portfolio. Brooks joined TA in December 2019 from McKinsey & Company, and previously served in Special Operations for the U.S. Marine Corps, achieving the title of Executive Officer. He earned a BS degree, magna cum laude, in Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

Ritika Chandra, based in TA’s Boston office, serves as the firm’s Head of ESG and leads cross-portfolio initiatives to drive value through the Strategic Resource Group. In her role as Head of ESG, Chandra focuses on deepening ESG integration across TA’s investment process and partnering with management teams to identify and progress ESG-related value creation opportunities. Prior to TA, she was an Associate Partner at Bain & Company, and previously worked as an Investment Banking Associate at Credit Suisse. Chandra earned her BA degree in Economics, First Class Honours, from the University of Cambridge and an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Andrew Lowry, based in TA’s Boston office, partners with management teams across TA’s business services and financial services portfolio to drive value creation and scale profitable growth. Lowry joined TA in March 2021, prior to that he spent more than five years with Boston Consulting Group and Goldman Sachs, and previously served in the U.S. Marine Corps, rising to the rank of Captain. He earned a BS degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.

Ritej Bachhawat, based in TA’s Mumbai office, focuses on identifying growth opportunities and improving performance for TA’s portfolio companies in India. Bachhawat joined TA in March 2021 from McKinsey & Company where he was an Engagement Manager, and previously worked as an Associate Consultant at ZS Associates, India Pvt. Ltd. He earned B.Tech and M.Tech degrees in Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow.
