2nd Story's flagship product line, TaxACT®, provided individual taxpayers and paid preparers access to tax preparation programs online or as downloadable desktop software. The Company built a growing and profitable business by upgrading free customers to paying customers through the sale of Deluxe and State versions of its software, as well as e-filing services.

2nd Story was acquired by InfoSpace, Inc. (NASDAQ: INSP) in January 2012.
