Tempur Sealy International, Inc. (formerly Tempur-Pedic) manufactures and distributes mattresses, pillows and bedding products made from Tempur pressure-relieving material, a viscoelastic polyurethane foam originally developed for the NASA space program.
The Company completed its IPO on the NYSE in December 2003. In 2012, Tempur-Pedic International acquired the Sealy Corporation, forming Tempur Sealy International, Inc., which is still publicly listed (NYSE: TPX).
